LNP listening to honest Queenslanders

Leader of the Opposition David Crisafulli has tasked his Shadow Ministers to travel across Queensland to listen to locals’ concerns about the State Government’s integrity crisis and how it’s failed them.

Mr Crisafulli said Queenslanders wanted a full inquiry into the integrity crisis engulfing Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s government.

“Queenslanders won’t have the wool pulled over their eyes, they can see right through this,” he said.

“We need a full Fitzgerald Inquiry into allegations of systemic corruption running through the State Government.

“When a government gives up on integrity, they give up on governing for you.

“That’s why we’re seeing youth crime running rampant, social housing waiting lists blowing out, and patients waiting for hours for an ambulance. The list goes on while Ministers focus on how they can protect their image and look after their mates.”

Mr Crisafulli said his Shadow Ministers would listen to Queenslanders about what they really wanted to see from this government.

“This State Government is dodgy and rotten and Queenslanders are working that out very quickly,” he said.

“The LNP has a Shadow Minister for Integrity, a Shadow Minister for Open Data and a Shadow Minister for Customer Service. The government doesn’t have these dedicated roles because it doesn’t value accountability and integrity.

“The Premier must immediately launch a Royal Commission-style inquiry into the integrity inferno engulfing her government.
