Premier must sack De Brenni & Enoch; Bailey should step aside

Today, the lights went out on accountability in Queensland.

This is the darkest period for integrity in more than three decades.

Anything short of a full Royal Commission into the systemic integrity crisis burning through the Labor Government is nothing but a cop out to Queenslanders.

The Premier has no choice.

Minister De Brenni must be sacked immediately.

The former State Archivist faced internal pressure to alter a report to save the reputation of a Minister. This smacks of corruption.

Minister Enoch must be sacked immediately. She has misled Parliament and Queenslanders to try and save her own job.

Minister Bailey must do the honourable thing, and step aside while a fulsome review of his private email affair is completed.

These Ministers should pay the price, not Queenslanders.

The announcement made by the government addressed none of these issues.

The Premier is doing nothing.

The Premier can’t keep ignoring the call of Queenslanders for a full Royal Commission.

Dodgy rotten governments breed dodgy rotten systems.

Queenslanders want a full Royal Commission.
