I was shocked and appalled to read the disturbing revelations by a whistleblower about the Child Safety system in Queensland.
The allegations are harrowing and heart breaking.
Their accounts detail children losing their childhood and a system failing to prioritise their safety.
It takes a brave person to expose the inner workings of Child Safety, especially in the current political climate where integrity in government has reached its darkest point in three decades.
I commend this person for speaking up.
Every child has the right to be safe – it is not acceptable that a child is not protected.
Under the Palaszczuk Government, Child Safety has deteriorated beyond repair and Queensland kids are in danger.
The LNP will not stop fighting for the safety of Queensland kids.
Our precious young children need protecting, but the adults in the room are failing them.
This is a serious issue that needs urgent attention.
The government’s track record on child safety is appalling.
