Shadow Minister for Integrity Fiona Simpson
We now know Queensland Public Service Commission chief executive Robert Setter had the laptop.
We also know he forwarded an old HR complaint about the Integrity Commissioner to the Crime and Corruption Commission.
His statement issued on Sunday confirms both facts.
But questions remain.
Why is it that the Premier was only told of the HR complaint and not the raid on the Integrity Commissioner’s office to get the laptop?
Was the Premier told the exact same complaint had already been dismissed by the CCC?
Or did the Premier have the full picture before she referred Nikola Stepanov to the Committee?
The onus is on Mr Setter and the Premier to set the record straight.
